What if it were possible to change Africa Forever?

Financial Administrator - Miss Fiona Onyinda - SFC

Up until very recently, four different currencies were being used in Southern Sudan, the most trusted being the USA Dollar, and the Uganda Shilling. Now, the Sudanese Pound (or DINAR) is being introduced.

Financial Administrator - Miss Fiona Onyida - SFCWe had a training course for all the SFC farm managers taught primarily by Miss Fiona Onyinda who taught book-keeping and Accounting Principles. Cal Bombay and Rev. Jim Raddatz taught on the principles of integrity, accountability and chain-of-command.

We are pleased to welcome Miss Fiona Onyinda as our Financial Administrator for the Savannah Farmers Cooperative Cooperative. She is a graduate of Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda in Business Administration and Accounting. Miss Onyinda is the daughter of the former Manager of the Morobo farm who tragically wasted away as a victim of cancer.

Fiona circulates to all SFC farms spending quality time with the managers and imposing proper book-keeping on each farm. This will include finances, inventory control, crop production and sales as well as log-books for tractors’ daily use. She also does the accounting for the Central Accounts of the SFC which are under the direction of The Hon. Zamba Duku, Managing Director of SFC. Regular reports will be submitted to both the Board of Directors of the SFC, and to the sole donor behind the SFC, Cal Bombay Ministries Inc. a Canadian Charity.

The slightest irregularities will be reported and dealt with appropriately. It should be noted that a “Zero Tolerance” policy is in place by decision of the Board of Directors, one of whom used to be the Auditor General of Southern Sudan during the few years of peace they had.
